Six Australian animals, each with its name in the Gudanji language. This 2026 $2 Coin and Stamp Cover from Australia Post and the Royal Australian Mint pairs an uncirculated $2 coin with stamps from the Our Animals, Our Country series.
The artwork is by Ryhia Dank, known as nardurna, a Gudanji, Wakaja and Kalkadoon artist whose bold, colourful style draws on the links between animals, language and Country. She is also an Ambassador of the Indigenous Literacy Foundation. The series marks UNESCO's International Decade of Indigenous Languages, which aims to protect and promote First Nations languages around the world.
