Refund policy

Faulty, damaged, missing or incorrect items

Email orders@mintcoinshop.com.au with your order number, a description of the problem, and photos of the item and the packaging. Please contact us as soon as you can, ideally within 7 days of delivery, so we can lodge a claim with the carrier. Keep all packaging until the matter is resolved. We will repair, replace or refund as the Australian Consumer Law requires, and we cover reasonable return postage for faulty or incorrect items. Where the problem is a major failure, you can choose a refund or a replacement.

Change of mind

We do not offer refunds or exchanges for change of mind, including where the market value of a coin changes after purchase.

How refunds are paid

Approved refunds are paid to the original payment method. Your bank may take a few business days to show the credit.

Changing or cancelling an order

Orders cannot be changed once placed. To request a cancellation, email orders@mintcoinshop.com.au as soon as possible with your order number. An order that has not been dispatched may be cancelled at the discretion of newsXpress Pty Ltd. The refund will be the amount paid less reasonable costs of managing the cancellation, up to 20% of the order value, covering bank fees, Shopify fees, processing time and related expenses. Once an order has been dispatched it cannot be cancelled, and the change of mind terms above apply.

Purchase limits

Where a purchase limit applies, it is shown on the product page. If orders exceed a stated limit, as described in our Terms of Service, we reserve the right to cancel all orders from that customer. The refund will be the amount paid less reasonable costs of managing the cancellation, up to 20% of the order value, covering bank fees, Shopify fees, processing time and related expenses.

Click and collect

Uncollected click and collect orders are handled as set out in our Terms of Service.
