One of cinema's most celebrated sci-fi epics is immortalised in this officially licensed 2oz pure silver collector's coin. Dune tells the story of Paul Atreides. A gifted young man born into a great destiny who must travel to the most dangerous planet in the universe to secure the future of his family and people, as powerful forces clash over the most precious resource in existence.
Adapted from Frank Herbert's Hugo Award-winning novel, DUNE and DUNE: PART TWO have earned eight Academy Awards and continue to captivate audiences worldwide with their visionary storytelling.
The coin’s coloured reverse showcases a sandworm, an integral part of Fremen society and an essential part of the ecosystem of Arrakis. The background features sweeping sand dunes, a swirling dust storm, and distant moons. Included in the design is the inscription 'SCOURGE OF THE DESERT SEA', the 'DUNE' logo and The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark.
Struck in 2oz of 99.99% pure silver with a rich antiqued and coloured finish, and limited to just 1,000 worldwide, this is an exceptional piece for fans and collectors alike.
