Issued to mark the 2026 Perth Stamp & Coin Show (6–8 March 2026), this gold-plated coin features the 2026 Australian Kookaburra.

Wade Robinson's reverse design places a kookaburra mid-flight above a river, surrounded by trees and rugged rocks. It's a fitting portrait of a bird that needs little introduction to Australians — its laughing call at dawn and dusk is one of the country's most recognisable sounds, and a key way kookaburras mark their territory.

The obverse carries Dan Thorne's effigy of His Majesty King Charles III alongside the AUD $1.00 denomination. The coin arrives in a Perth Stamp & Coin Show presentation card with a built-in foldout stand.
