This set lands at a genuine turning point for British coinage. It is the first annual set built around King Charles III's definitive coins, the everyday designs that replaced the heraldic shield pieces most of us grew up seeing in change.

The new definitives swap heraldry for British wildlife: a puffin on the 20p, a red squirrel on the 2p, an Atlantic salmon on the 50p, bees on the £1.
