The Lord of the Rings Lothlórien Set – A Silver Coin and Art Foil From the Golden Wood

Lothlórien was never meant to be easy to reach. Half-glimpsed, half-dreamed, the Golden Wood only admitted those who were steadfast enough to be trusted with it. That sense of a guarded, hidden place is what makes this release work.

The Lothlórien Collectible Set is the second issue in the Artefacts of Middle-earth series. It brings together two pieces rather than one. There is a 5g 999 pure silver art foil, and a 1/2oz 999 pure silver shaped collectible.

The foil carries sweeping artwork of the Golden Wood on one side. Turn it over and you find an engraved map of Middle-earth. Together the two faces work like a window into the realm, which is a neat piece of design thinking rather than simple decoration.

The shaped collectible is the Elven Lórien leaf brooch. Galadriel gave one to every member of the Fellowship as they left the glade, so that each of them carried a piece of Lórien wherever they travelled. Here the brooch has been shaped in silver, with its delicate Elven detail lifted by a holographic finish. It measures approximately 54.88 × 42.39mm. The art foil is 98 × 148mm.

The set is limited to just 1,000 worldwide. Both pieces are individually numbered out of 1,000, though the numbers on the collectible and the foil are not guaranteed to match. The back of the art foil carries The Lord of the Rings logo alongside the Public Seal of Niue, confirming legal tender status. Year of issue is 2026.

Presentation matters with a set like this. It arrives in a premium display case with a black felt tray holding both pieces, and a Mark of Authenticity on the packaging. It displays well as a pair, which is the point.
