Black Panther 60 Years 2026 Stamp and Coin Cover
Sixty years of the King of Wakanda
Black Panther turns 60 this year. T'Challa first appeared in Fantastic Four #52 in 1966, and he's been one of Marvel's best-loved characters ever since.
The Perth Mint and Australia Post have marked the anniversary with a Stamp and Coin Cover. It was released on 29 October 2026, and it's in stock now at $37.
What's in the cover
Natasha Muhl designed the coloured reverse. Black Panther is caught mid-stride, his black suit lit with purple and violet and lined with geometric patterns. His panther-tooth necklace is there too, against a backdrop of jagged rock. The coin carries 'Black Panther', '60 Years' and The Perth Mint's 'P' mintmark.
The $1 coin is uncirculated aluminium bronze, legal tender of Tuvalu. It sits in a printed card with a round window, so you can see both sides without taking it out.
The envelope holds an official Australia Post stamp, postmarked on the first day of issue. It also carries Australia Post's Seal of Authenticity.

Who it suits
This one sits across two collections. Marvel fans get an officially licensed coloured coin. Stamp and coin cover collectors get a first day of issue postmark and a small issue limit.
At $37 it's also an easy gift for a Marvel fan. Christmas is eight weeks away, and covers with small issue limits rarely last long.
We sell at RRP, and we're an official stockist for The Perth Mint. Order at mintcoinshop.com.au, or choose click and collect from our Hawthorn office.
