Batman Begins: The Tumbler 1/2oz Silver Coin – Shaped Like the Batmobile That Changed Everything
The 1966 Batmobile had charm. The Tumbler had none, and that was the point. Armoured, blunt and built for intimidation, it turned the Batmobile from a car into a weapon. For a lot of people it is still the definitive version.
This release captures it in 1/2oz of 999 pure silver, shaped to mirror the Tumbler's own form rather than sitting inside a round coin. Mirror-finish panels rise out of a frosted base, with full-colour detail across the body. Held in the hand it reads as a model first and a coin second.
It is the second release in the Agoro Batmobile series, following Batman '66. Each piece is individually numbered from a total of 1,000 worldwide. The standard is numbered out of 900 and finished in colour and proof, with mirror and frosted silver areas. The chase is numbered out of 100 and adds 999 pure gold gilding across the piece. You have roughly a one in ten chance of finding it.
The back carries the Niue Coat of Arms, confirming legal tender status at a $1 denomination for the 2026 year of issue. It measures approximately 53.68 × 33.39mm.
Packaging is themed to Batman, with an inner felt tray holding the collectible and a Mark of Authenticity included. That matters for a shaped piece, because it needs somewhere safe to live between viewings.
